SO here is a bunch of stumpy, hairy trolls with tails, because I felt like drawing Karkat this way and then hammster told me to draw Aradia and then I decided to just .. work my way up the haemospectrum. Most of them have thin tails with fluffy ends but the sea trolls are otters, I guess??

Anyway here is what is up in Squeakville: I am moving to Cardiff in less than a month with Pura and Claire! I am thinking of taking my cat with me, and nothing stands in my way if I decide that is a thing I am going to do, but I'm not sure if it's a great idea because it is possible that being relocated to a new place will make her flip her shit. INDECISION!

I am also WRITING A NOVEL again. Hmmm. We will see how this goes. This one is about biplanes and islands full of dinosaurs and everybody in it is queer, or at least that is what it is about so far, but I think it needs some, idk – it needs some work I don't really know what I'm doing :(

Also I have a pile of art to dump and like all of it is homestuck fanart but I am sure you can live with that. if you're following me on tumblr you have already seen all of this but i like to keep it here too.

If you want to be apathetic about it that’s FINE FOR YOU I GUESS but it still fills me with rage every time I see someone being like “hur I just don’t care” as if excess media exposure is the worst aspect of the whole thing, like being apathetic is somehow subversive when it’s not because everyone acts like the fact that this country has a monarchy is no big deal all the time

Like it’s not totally sickening to see the monarchy flaunt its ill-gotten wealth while their country is having a financial crisis and watch everyone act as if this is somehow a booster of national morale

monarchy is terrible

monarchy is a tradition of institutionalised inequality completely at odds with democracy, fairness and common sense

I don’t give a fuck about the couple getting married because I don’t know them, seriously whatever, but I despise the wedding and the way it is being treated by basically everybody because it is a revoltingly ostentatious celebration of something that no country that claims to be democratic should actually have

everyone is either excited or indifferent and no one is angry and it makes me

I am especially sick of Americans treating it like this quaint romantic and/or humorous spectacle that the UK has a monarchy in the first place, as if not having a monarchy wasn't one of the founding principles the US was founded on

HI I am back in England! I sure missed it but MAN i cannot deal with this time zone crap. It's 6am and I am not really sleepy :| :| :| I shouldn't even be jetlagged, I spent like 50 hours in an airport not sleeping. By all rights I should just be SLEEPING FOREVER now. BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT IS OCCURRING. Way to go, me! It is way too warm here, too, but HEY AT LEAST IT'S SHORTS WEATHER. My family has a pet tortoise. She's somewhere in the region of sixty years old, and when we acquired her when I was about three or four her name was Dougal. A perusal of reference books on tortoise keeping led us to the assumption that this tortoise was in fact female, so her name was changed to Tabitha (I was big on alliteration when I was small) and we referred to her with female pronouns.
