stop the joker

You live to annoy me, Square-Enix . . .

So, I beat Kingdom Hearts for the first time today, as a few months ago I'd played all the way through but stopped right before the final line up of boss battles.

I can't say it was a bad game. It wasn't exactly to my tastes, but then again, my absolute favorite is survival horror, which I'm sure most people aren't as in to as me.

But the reason I'm even writing this?

The ending loop. FUCK that ending loop. My greatest satisfaction comes from saving after beating the final boss, but when there's that annoying as hell never ending music at the end, I sadly cannot do that, and I'm left feeling somehow cheated. The exact same thing happened with Final Fantasy VII.

Goddamn it.

But hey, at least I can move on to Kingdom Hearts II now, which has been gathering dust on my shelf for about a year.

The Silent Hill Shattered Memories Countdown Has Begun

I think its coming out sometime in October. I used to know the exact day but I'm too lazy to go back and look it up.

I'm kind of on the fence about it. There's so much about it I think I'd like, but on the other hand, it looks like you can't even fight the monsters, only run from them. And I hate games where there's endless running and hiding. I couldn't stand Clock Tower or Haunting Ground for that very reason.

But, only time will tell.

Something I'm fairly certain I'll love is Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, but I have to wait all the way until like, December for it. That's just cruel of Capcom.

But, in the more immediate future is Batman: Arkham Asylum and Dissidia: Final Fantasy. The first is apparently supposed to play something like Resident Evil 4/5 and, obviously, take place in the Batman Universe. I'm hoping you'll be able to play as the Joker.

And the second is supposed to have Sephiroth and Cloud in it. Mansex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
