Hello there! I am new here and found this lovely comm by chance. I'm glad to be part. It seems it's pretty quiet here which i think is a pitty. Uhmm I am actually a seme, too. Many told me that and allthough I would prefer to be uke (because I am lazy and allways have to do all the work) I still enjoy beeing the one in control ^__~ How about you? Hey, all! How you doing?

Today I actually got off my butt and updated my website. This is admittedly not altogether exciting. What is fairly exciting is this: I've decided to host a Gravitation fanfic contest. That's right -- an honest-to-goodness contest with judges and prizes and stuff. (Excited yet?)

It's all very simple. I don't like rules, so there are very few rules. I don't like being forced to write certain situations or scenes or characters, so there's none of that. I don't like having to search for good fic, so I'm making you guys come to me. ^_~ Sounds fair? Good. My only real requirements are as follows: read the rules (on the contest page linked below), follow the theme (Swimming with the Fishes), and give me your best shot!

While I'm here, I should mention that I am also "contracting" artists who might be interested in helping me out with a few elements of this contest in return for compensation that isn't money (sorry!). I'll write fic, make icons, or give you my heartfelt thanks -- whatever. If you're interested in that, email me.

   Hey, I am a hardcore Gravitation fan! *waves manga and DVDs in the air* Tatsuha is an awesome character in my opinion, and he's even funny in the Gravitation Remixes X3
    For anyone who's interested, I am working on starting Gravitation Journals/RP at gravitation_rp . All the characters are open except for Hiroshi, and the roleplaying hasn't started, considering I'm getting a Gravitation based layout worked on and I don't have any members left. ^^;; So, anyone in this community who would like to be Tatsuha or any other character, please leave a comment! [Edit] Many people have applied in the past few hours, and someone is currently requesting to be Tatsuha. I've done this like 4 times today, I'm joining Gravi communities...lots of them.

Anyway...Tatsuha's very enjoyable. I love how he's...a sadist...and he's very beautiful. And he's very...his love for Ryu is something like my Gackt obsession xD Except that I'm a shade less obsessed, and I don't know him IRL...xD

He's definetely a cool character, and I love that he's only 16 and yet this huge pervy lust-bunny.

Do you all remember last October/November when I set up the Break Through Gravitation BBS Forum (with Stevie's help) and then Fear The Dark crashed and I lost it? Well, it's back. ^^

Since the forum is new all over again, I'm still making a lot of changes with it and you'll have to bear with me for a bit, but I do believe that, with your help, we could make Break Through a great place for all Gravitation fans to gather together!

I've finished a new Gravitation fic. It's five (short and unedited) chapters long and it's chock full of who knows what, but it's finished and that's all I really care about. I wrote the first two chapters one week in January... And finished chapters three through five during this week alone. And it's done!

I'm sorry for the obvious off-topicness, but I really need a hand here...

I have a quick favor to ask all of you--especially those of you who live/grew up in English-speaking countries aside from the United States. For my HEL class, we have to write a paper on something which demonstrates change in the English language, and I chose to do attitudes towards spelling and such in a multi-cultural sense, as well as the emphasis that educators put on correct spelling in schools today.

So this is the favor. In order to successfully pull off this project, I need several examples of people's writing from various countries (especially things written for school and/or work over the past decade or two) and interviews. I'm aiming for at least 3 works each from the United States, Great Britain, and Canada (any other countries would be great, too, of course) and interviews from at least five people from each country.
