It was a day of me mostly working and feeling nauseous. I DID get the next scene in the slasher story done with a lot of help from FB friends (I was having a brain fart, couldn't think of all the skill sets you see at a renn fest)
Ah time for my Buffy verse Fannish 50 questions
Day 10: Least favourite episode
A couple years back Rolling Stone did their ranking for an anniversary. I'm not sure I agree with all of it.
right here on Rolling Stone
Some of my least favorites are Doublemeat Palace most because it made me want to punch the Watchers for not taking care of the Slayers (which frankly makes ZERO sense which is why I don't like it)
R.S. said this was the worst Where the Wild Things Are - I don't even remember it so I'll say yes.
Empty Places - the episode where Buffy is pushed out of her house. You already know how much I hate this one
Smashed - thanks for the sexual assault
Gingerbread - It was just a low point for Joyce
( all questions under here )
I could always polish up and post the missing scene from until I bring you home on AO3, and maybe pick a Klavier/Daryan kink meme prompt to fill. I need sleep before I do any of that, but come on, it's my favorite Ace Attorney case, it'd be really nice to do something. (Also I think my neighbors are finally out of fireworks, so maybe I can stop staying up until 3 AM now.)

Almost a month after she debuted, she was appearing as a back-up dancer alongside Masai Mayuu for Team K and their performances of the Saka Agari revival, and then in September, she appeared in the line-up for the kenkyuusei theatre performances of Tadaima Renaichuu as part of Junai no Crescendo, again with Mayuu, and as centre for Kikyou—also covered by Iwasa Misaki on her first single, Mujin Eki—which should give you some clue as to Mizumin's career trajectory.
Obligatory mention of Wonderful Love, but pay attention because Mizumin is part of the Wcentre with Sato Airi! She also appeared with Hirata Yuki for AKB's cover of UFO by Pink Lady on the covers album, Nantettatte AKB48.
In terms of senbatsu appearances, since the aforementioned Yukirin graduation single, you can hear Mizumin on Koi Tsun Jatta, Masaka no Confession, and forthcoming single, Suki-ish. Whilst the latter is the first release in a long time without nineteenth generation member, Hanada Mei, it should perhaps be reassuring to know that AKB has a few more aces to play in her absence.
I feel bad that Hanada Mei is now better known for being dismissed than for what she brought to the group.
I digress.
In 2023, Mizumin also appeared in Team B's new production of Idol no Yoake as well as making her first CD appearances. In 2024, she was promoted out of kenkyuusei purgatory to become one of the regular members as a reward for her efforts.
Like me, Mizumin is a Yukirin oshi, which makes her appearance on Colorcon Wink all the more delightful. Stand by for big things from this girl as we're definitely going to see her a lot more in future!
This is an account I've had for over 20 years. No matter what age I was when I opened it, I would clearly be of age since, and I have contacted customer service various times in the past due to problems. They know I'm a real person who has almost always accessed them from the same IP. I even had "diamond status", meaning I got extra points with each survey completed for faster rewards, as a result of being such a longtime member.
Apparently that was unimportant. I closed my account and they have not contacted me. Makes me wonder how many other people are doing so as well.

Again, this is something I'm not quite sure how to answer by not having specific details or even a fully formed idea of what my ideal series would be about. Sorry this was lackluster of a response to your question. :(

Well, as I keep saying, I'm tired of reboots. We've been living in this age of rebooting/remaking everything underneath the sun that if there was something that I had initially wished had been rebooted, I'm glad that it wasn't because it most likely wouldn't live up to expectations or further expand upon the original and just be another disappointing cheap cash grab. Although I will say, while I was indifferent towards it, I'm bummed about the BTVS sequel reboot, New Sunnydale, if only because the circumstances of how it was axed before it even got the chance to air makes me incredibly bitter and upset on behalf of SMG and the rest of the new cast who were excited and hyped up for it. Would it have been good? Hard to say without having seen anything, but it deserved to at least have that chance.
In addition to this, I also think that the Tomb Raider 2018 movie with Alicia Vikander should have gotten its franchise, as it was based around the 2013 reboot games. It was already greenlit for a sequel and ready to go, but then the pandemic hit and whatever contract deadline that was supposed to be met was missed and so it was silently cancelled. I thought the movie was fantastic, and I was yearning for more, and we deserved more, dammit.
I am off tomorrow for the dentist - it should just be a cleaning (though I am braced to hear I need yet another crown) but I am always so tired when it's over. And my team meeting on Tuesday got cancelled so I am tempted to take next Tuesday off since I'm already off Wednesday (my birthday), Thursday, and Friday of next week. My boss was like, sure! but I'm still thinking about it.
I thought I had something else to post about but I can't remember... oh right, I finally watched Project Hail Mary the other night. I enjoyed it but it was too long. And there was not enough Eva Stratt, who was the best thing in the movie.

Never forget.
( Say cheese )
We grabbed our hats and sunglasses and went onto the roof to have a closer look.
It ended up being a very close look indeed. (I would like to point out that none of us were the ones clapping.)
This was a more comfortable view of the formation flying.
Here they are coming from t’other direction.
This continued for around 10 minutes before they all zoomed off, presumably to base for a little rest from the heat.

The Hastings Museum Kool-Aid Exhibit in Hastings, Nebraska
Jul. 7th, 2026 03:00 pm
Hastings, Nebraska is where Edwin Perkins invented Kool-Aid. To honor his delicious invention, the local museum has dedicated half of a floor to the drink’s history. Kool-Aid: Discover the Dream is a nostalgic and comprehensive collection of all things Kool-Aid. The only thing missing is a chance to actually imbibe the drink itself.
Kool-Aid’s precursor was Fruit Smack, a flavored syrup. Perkins, tired of how easily the glass bottles containing the syrup leaked and broke, decided to ditch the watery aspect of the sweet mixture and instead create packets of powder. He was inspired by Jell-O. Perkins debuted the drink, which was originally called Fruit-Ade, in 1927. And its popularity only rose during the Great Depression, when Perkins lowered the cost of a packet to 5 cents and grew profits beyond what he’d made at twice the price.
The Kool-Aid exhibit at the Hastings Museum of of Natural and Cultural History is full of information about the drink’s beginnings and various marketing strategies. It includes old packaging and advertisements, as well as discontinued Kool-Aid related products like bubble gum and sherbet packets. Visitors follow a fiber optic ‘river’ of the drink that flows throughout the museum’s lower level. People can even catch a glimpse of the original Kool-Aid Man suit, though they shouldn't expect it to burst through any walls.
