Michael Scott, has left the building...
Yes, That's right! Steve Carell, has left 'The Office'. And I am more effected by it then I originally thought I would be..
Right now, the "Royal Wedding" is on tv, the actual LONG awaited wedding, and while everybody is focusing on that, I am still sitting here thinking about Michael Scott leaving to Colorado, By the end of the show, full of the characters saying goodbye to Michael, You could really see the actors feelings seep through the acting, I caught a tear actually running down my cheek watching all of it.
A few months after it first aired in 2004, The Office became a family favorite, I never missed an episode.
I even got a ferret in 2006, And while I was riding in the car, going home with my new little guy, I was thinking of a name for him.
and right away his shining personality reminded me of Michael Scott, his bubbly personality, mannerisms, and even the look in his face
(mostly his eyes) reminded me of him, so within a matter of minutes, His name was "Scotty Michael", =) Still, to this day even at 5 years of age, My Little Scotty still acts like Michael Scott, it's the cutest thing.
Oh, boy. I know it's just a show, but to tv junkies, like myself. After a while, it feels like you know the people. Just like when ER ended after 15 years, I felt so empty for a long time after growing up with that show, and even when all the people Graduated from "Degrassi" (The Next Generation", I felt the impact on that too, I dunno. I am just that kinda person, I guess :)
Bottom Line Is: I, along with many other people, will miss seeing Steve Carell's witty humor every Thursday night. And even though Will Ferrell is doing a good job, it won't be Michael. And whoever they get to 'replace' the boss on there, won't compare..
