The Bastards of Rock Tour vs. The Eastern United States

It’s hard. It’s uncompromising and it’s unlike anything you’re expecting. Ready? Of course you’re not.

THE BASTARDS OF ROCK TOUR-- a 10 day jaunt up the east coast, which boasts three of Orlando, Florida’s most unique and prominent unsigned talents, will roll out on March 18th at Blondeshell’s in Silver Spring, MD and will make its mark on nine cities in nine different states by the time it ends March 26th at The Backbooth at home in Orlando.

Confused Little Girl, the tour’s unofficial headliner, are also the newest musical addition to the Orlando, FL underground rock scene. Comprised of members which all spend their time working in other bands, Confused Little Girl came together to end adjective hyphenated metal and rock music. “Do you remember that? When bands used to just come out with instruments and be a ROCK band? No Funk this or power that or rap this…just a ROCK band. That’s what we’re all about. We’re a bunch of southern boys that love a good riff.” says guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Van Muddlestein.

Ignid, the tour’s 2nd in command, have been providing some of the most intense music coming out of Central Florida for the past 7 years, but never before has Ignid been more inspired or dedicated to their music. Having played all of the biggest and best venues in Florida, including Orlando’s House of Blues and Hard Rock Live, this tour is Ignid’s opportunity to take its unique musical ideas to the rest of the world. The group says “We in Ignid are looking forward to offending people's usual idea of a band by ignoring any one specific genre from song to song. We feel that people have hundreds of emotions, so why shouldn't our music give them a song for each. After all, sometimes we want to rock and sometimes we don't. Our prozac doesn't seem to be working...”.

In just a short period of time, The Bastards of Rock Tour’s opener Ms. Mecca Nism has created an astonishing impact on the entire central Florida music scene, with strong and devoutly loyal fanbases also established throughout the United States in such areas as San Diego, New York and Atlanta. Her solo acoustic songs hold up to the intensity of the death metal and punk bands that she typically plays with, having shared the stage with such bands as Chimaira, Dead Gospel, Bile, Nocturne, Endo, 5 Billion Dead and Lunatic Candy Kreep.

Confused Little Girl will be having a coloring book contest where fans can mail in a page of CLG’s own special coloring books and the best one will receive a tshirt and free admittance to a future show. This is an online exclusive contest especially for THE BASTARDS OF ROCK TOUR.

So Here's the deal....I'm in a band called Playground Heroes from Kissimmee, FL. My band is in the process of booking a 7 week full US tour to promote our new album. We've toured successfully many times but it's been about 2 and 1/2 years since we've been on the road and as a result most of the resources and contacts we had have disappeared/closed down. We've been emailing places and contacting places through book your own fucking life, gigswap and myspace...but we need help. So if you're in a band or you're a promoter, booker, whatever and you would or could hook us up with a show between june 10th and july 29th email me or reply on here or aim: satansonion127 with what town/state you're in and I'll get ahold of you with what date we need. The only places in Florida we need are Tallahassee, Pensacola, or Jacksonville. We'll gladly do gig trades with bands or whatever.
Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you soon.
