Offscreen journal publishes twelve issues per year, all of which are freely available. Somehow we have managed to maintain this schedule with stuttering regularity since 1997! We strive to promote independent works and initiatives outside of commercial channels and to ensure adequate compensation for all of our contributors (authors, translators, graphic designers, and other behind-the-scenes workers). We invite you to support our work so we can continue to give voice to our committed team of contributors, writers, video essayists and film critics.
