Of the Realm

After the celebration during the Knights' Day Festival, the tournament is underway around 5pm that evening. At the Lesser Arena, the citizens of Solaur fill the seats, as well as the commoners and other folk whom have lined up to fill the slots in the tournaments in order to prove themselves to their favorite knights.

The Upper Balcony for this tournament, has been deserted for the large, favorable Lower Balcony seating, where His Majesty the King Konohamaru, Lord Chancellor Shikamaru, the Captain of the Guard Sir Temari Sabaku, and the Knights of the Realm, Sir Gaara, Sir Naruto, Dame Haruno, Sir Kyuubi, and Sir Sasuke seat. There are guards posted on the balcony as well so no one punches the King 8| to eliminate any violence that may break out.

And below, during the tournament, are the contestants. While there are many NPC commoners whom have joined in on the fun, its not like its going to matter because out characters are going to be the ones who fill the top three slots each and every time, because they're awesome like that.

Hear ye, hear ye!

Today marks the beginning of the Knights Day Festival! The town is decorated in the bright banners and colors of all your favorite knights (and Sir Sasuke as well). Red, yellow, blue, red-and-yellow, black-and-white, and green streamers twirl about the town and all converge at the entrance, where the King sits on his throne to greet everyone as they arrive.

After paying your respects to the King, walk the street and just try to ignore the calls of vendors, offering food and goods to all passer-by. There's a lot of great stuff to purchase, and many goods are one sale! Or, perhaps just mingle among the crowds and get to know your fellow countrymen. And, back by demand the Fortune Telling Booth is also up to spit out your paper fortune!

Make your way to the booth where the sign-ups for the Knights' Tournament is being held, or just mingle among the crowd! Remember, the Knights will be judging the tournament. Any other character (whether squires, Shadows, or the Royal Court) is allowed to sign up! ♥
