Winter Study music swap
Hey assorted Odd Quad folk. So long as listservs are down, I figure I might as well make this suggestion here to get reasonable exposure.
Over Winter Study, I think it'd be nice for us to do some sort of mix-CD swap. It'd work something like this. We get a large number of people to create mix CDs of their favorite music, music they find amusing, music that's been important for them for a long time, music that they've recently been interested in, etc. People would then prepare tracklists and whatever liner notes they want explaining what the music is and why they're including it. Someone (i.e., me) would create a flow-chart circle of everyone involved in the music swap. Then, we'd pass our CDs to the next person in the circle. A few days later, we'd pass the CD we'd received on, and so on until our music returns.
It'd be cool to know what everyone is listening to, to hear new music that like-minded people enjoy, and to enhance the size of our iTunes libraries.

Greetings! This is the first post in the Odd Quad LJ. If you're seeing this, feel free to join -- students and crust alike. We can use this for, well, whatever -- another venue of communication, a way of keeping in touch, or whatever. It's all good.
