We're starting Pre-production as we speak. Casting is pretty much done, but we need like three extras. We need a wardrobe budget of some form. ROSEMARY MUST RAID CLOSETS AND CLEARANCE RACKS!
Part of PP is learning the progams that we're going to be using. So Jaime is going to learn Motion while Rosemary learns Final Cut. We need to start doing promotional photos, final soundtrack selection, and we need props; more importantly, a door of some kind.
There is a side project going on call "Funeral" it's the footage we'll be using to show people on the net that we're serious about our film. The leading lady and supporting dude from the main project will be nice enough to give us the stuff we need for this...hopefully. So stay tuned for the You Tube link.
We may have to start a myspace because we're getting absolutly no feedback here at LJ, sadly.
So pretty much this week we suceeded in nothing but some script progress. Good for us right?
We also have some web pages to build for the class we're making the movie for.
I have the graduation page all pretty and color changed but i need the txt documents to finish it! I also must take pictures for the english page!
Japan club is developing more and they want a site in which to post a news letter and since I'm one of the key people in this club I volenteered to do it! Of course I will be working closely with Jaime on this because after all, he is the president.

We have script progress
Seven scenes written! we are a little over half done with that. we should be ready to start actual production in a week or so.
We've also been working on getting props and wardorbe, but that area seems like it will be left to our cast more so than us...seeing as we have NO BUDGET!
Remember not a low budget film a NO BUDGET FILM!!!!
Personally I think this is the best part of the whole thing. We are thinking of using This Time Imperfect by AFI as the beginning music. Just the piano part though. And the end music was going to be an AFI song too but now I'm thinking it's going to be Johnny Cash's rendition of Hurt.
Happy Time music will probably be somewhere along the lines of Sister Hazel or maybe even the Pixies. Sad time music will be an interlude from AFI's new album December Underground between tracks 7 and 8. Scary time music may vary because there are way too many possibilities.
I don't think techno will be used at any time...sorry.
So anyway...

I know we haven't even started production, but we don't even have a script yet so we might as well work on a poster possibility. As of now the the status for the poster is: GOD AWFUL! the background is a dude who used his face for fishing bait...he caught a lot of fish, he died though.
So anyway we needs to get more cast members and such. As of now Jaime is the drug adict and Randy is the random undeveloped charecter...woot. We want to develop several charecters within the trip, I was thinking a white rabbit of some kind. Possibly a girl with bunny ears, a white t-shirt, and jeans. Then perhaps his dealer will appear in the trip as a scientist. At some piont satan should show up, we're not sure when.
In the Begining... Okay, I need an Idea!!! I got it! Drugs, and halucinations! hmm...genre? Dramatic Short of course! So what is it about? Exploring a hallucinogenic drug trip of a young man/woman (depending on casting circumstances)!!! Now what to call it? I got it! The Oblivion!!!
And that is how we got here. were in the begining of the writing process at the moment. As of now scene one is indeed written. Now let's try and stay at this rate.
