I'm surprised there weren't more black and white icons since I stated up front that would be one of the special categories. But there are a few and I think you will still have a tough time picking your favorite. On a side note...black and white icons with a little color in them ARE eligible to be voted on in the black and white category.
I love architectural elements and stairways are a wide a diverse subcategory. It's truly amazing where people put them and how long they have been in use. I hope you'll enjoy this somewhat abstract challenge.
I've provided 18 images for you to work with, but feel free to find your own stairways. And feel free to mix and blend your images.
This challenge is going to last about a week and a half because us Mods are in the middle of summer vacations and trying to work around those schedules. But this just gives all of you more time to make icons.
One of the categories this challenge is going to be Best Black and White icon so keep that in mind when making your icons. You might want to throw a black and white one into your set. But it's optional.
