I have created a new community, nefurs, for New England furries. This community will serve the same purpose as the old newenglandfurs community, which was discontinued by its owner.  Here you may post announcements of events and activities of interest to New England furries, such as furmeets, bowling meets, picnics, and so on.  You may also talk about all things New England and furry!  Treat this community like an online furmeet, and have fun!

12:00 noon - 2:00 pm

This is our first regular mid-month Saturday CT Burger run to Jake's Wayback Burgers in central CT (West Hartford). People should show up around noon and stay until around 2 pm when it starts to get crowded with mainstream customers. Look for the tables full of people with ears and tails, which are encouraged by Jake's management.

--from Westbound I-84 take a Left at the end of the ramp of exit 41.
--from Eastbound I-84 take a Right off the ramp of exit 41.
--Jake's will be on your left just before the light, at the corner of South Main Street and New Britain Avenue.

If you need a ride please contact other furs that are going to arrange a car pool ASAP. Please don't wait till an hour before the meet to try and find a ride. If you don't know anyone who is going, contact Chance, Kevon, or Xaviera and we can help link you up with people who are driving. Tails + suits are obviously encouraged for bowling. New members are always welcome! :3

There will be a person filming during the entirety of the meet, so this is great opportunity to show off our Buffalo and WNY pride. Make sure to wear your Buffalo/NF/WNY/Local Colleges/Local Sports team gear. It's an awesome chance to advertise our local community, and show how much fun we have. I know that I will be wearing my Buff. State sweatshirt while suiting, everyone has at least one WNY piece of gear in their closet.

To ensure proper planning for all feature bowling meets, below is a attempt at picking dates that work for everyone for the rest of the year.

The list will be finalized Aug. 18th, 2011 with the final dates. Please comment here - http://buffalofurs.org/forums/view… if the dates work or don't. If the dates don't work for most, they will be changed. Everyone's input is highly appreciated.

Please note we are just picking the dates for the bowling meets for 2011, not dealing with anything else (ie. dinner location).
