Wow. Not okay.

So I never post anymore, but I had to share this, which is legitimately the most effed up thing I've ever seen. I just want to hear what others think about it.

Selling digital voice recorder

Hey, I'm selling my Olympus Digital Voice Recorder VN2100-PC.

It's in good shape (looks worn) and works perfectly, but it isn't compatible with my new Mac (only PCs). I paid $60 and I'm looking to get $25 for it, I've had it for just over one year. Comes with USB cable and software on CD. If any of you theatregoers- or other people on the f-list- are interested, let me know! Thanks!

Birthday in 3 weeks; a gift-giving guide

SO. I know that probably one of you is thinking, "What am I to get Johnna for her birthday?" And as Margot would say, "[I am] here to help *hand signal*." Here is my amazon.com wishlist.

My Amazon.com Wish List

If it isn't automatically prioritized, go to "Sort By" and choose priority high-to-low and browse at your own discretion.

Remember, the amazon.com wishlist is not just for birthdays and Christmas, it is for all occasions.

If nothing on there strikes your fancy, feel free to choose from the following:
-a new brain
-the payment of my therapy bills
-the Tano Sex Bomb bag in either Cobalt Blue or Brusciato, or the Tano Concrete Blondie bag (formerly the Miss Understood bag), but in Brusciato, not the green.
-an Ohio State sweatshirt
-money. mail to:

Some of these might seem a bit pricey or steep, but remember, this is #21. My next big birthday won't be for 8 years, my golden birthday, if I last that long.

Shop away.

It's no secret...

that I hate Columbia. However, it is a beautiful campus. Check out the photos I took on Math Quad yesterday...

What do you think? I'm not a photographer by any means, which is probably blatantly obvious, but I think I got some pretty good shots. I just discovered the 'Sepia' setting on my camera and I'm pretty obsessed with it. I'm not good with the lighting...so b&w is difficult. I always wanted to take a class. Anywho- back to irregularly scheduled work.

are you serious?

(no subject)

Things you would only hear in a music class:

1) *talking about Beethoven's "Eroica" symphony"
Boy: It sounds kind of like the "Rite of Spring."
The rest of the class: *laughs hysterically*

2) Professor: "...it takes you by voice leading to distant keys." (Sounds like some cheesy sci-fi line.)

Will be back later for the lyric game that's being played.

so much for staying away.

Ashley, it lasted what? All of an hour?

Anywho, small change. My background is now a picture of my Nina, the dog that I fostered and for which I found a home this summer after she was abandoned at my work...you've all heard about her if you've read since I worked there. She's a sweetheart and happy in her new place and I miss her!

Shady wasn't so lucky, and I think about her often. She was my baby, and I wish I could have saved her.

(a really unattractive photo of me...that's what happens when you work in a kennel.)
R.I.P. Shady. but I love her- more than I've loved anything/one, I'm pretty sure. Her story/life/death has affected me more than most. (I really am one with the animals.) She was a bad-ass, and I really feel like she's watching over me, kind of like my guard dog. I always feel safe when walking alone at night, and be that the power of God or my ghost dog, I like it. I'm pretty sure it's Shady that's keeping me safe.
