nwhyteThis is the latest post in a series I started in late 2019, anticipating the twentieth anniversary of my bookblogging which will fall in 2023 Every six-ish days, I've been revisiting a month from my recent past, noting work and family developments as well as the books I read in that month. I've found it a pleasantly cathartic process, especially in recent circumstances. If you want to look back at previous entries, they are all tagged under bookblog nostalgia.
A month when I don't appear to have travelled outside Belgium. A work trip to Barcelona was cancelled at the last moment. (Work continued to be pretty grim.) I attended the showdown between Olli Rehn and Guy Verhofstadt, which ended with sweetness and light.
I read 21 books in January 2014. From this month on I started to post the covers of (most of) the books Iread in my monthly roundups, so I'm keeping them for the reprises.
