A new year. Journal needs a new bio revamp.
I'm Ntkufreak, you may know me from a Gackt community. Or from PonyIsland or Deviantart or something. Also go by Nutty.
I don't want to get into too much personal information, but I'm an illustration student hoping to minor in creative writing at the Maryland Institute College of Art. My work is an exploration of aesthetic and androgynous beauty. In English, I love to draw pretty things. My own identity as being transgendered has manifested itself in my art, through one of my favorite subject matters, which are feminine men. I also like epic illustration.
I read comic books and a few manga, but my interest in Japanese culture is more rooted in the music. Gackt is my favorite musician; I also like Malice Mizer (all eras), Vienna, Gerard, and anything else Chachamaru's participated in, X Japan, D'espairsray, MUCC, L'Arc~en~ciel, so on. I'm not completely adverse to English music, either, my favorite band probably being Muse. And I love Japanese movies, my favorite being Battle Royale.
Feel free to friend me, but if you don't tell me who you are I likely will not friend you back. And if you do friend me, be prepared for near-daily LJ updates on your Friends list, many of which may be but are not limited to the following:
-Excessive and unabashed fangirling
-Fretting over school
