1. You've had the good fortune to wind up next to Jim at the bar. He's either hitting on you or the girl on the other side of you (or he's just been turned down ;;) and most definitely drunk off his face.

2. Due to some kind of plot device time-space bending accident Captain Jim's wound up in your character's hometown/world/verse. He's ended up in your basement trying to steal your clothes so he can fit in.

3. Trek Academy! Jim's arrived late to class (wild party last night, okay?) and taken the seat next to yours. He may or may not still smell strongly of tequila. Hey, let him look at your notes, okay?

4. XOA! Having discovered his pheremone manipulation powers (well. Discovered that they are what they are) Jim's testing them out. Do they work on psychics? What about from across the room? Your character might observe, interupt or be affected.

5. SW! It's the day before the Final Quidditch match between Slytherin v mumblemumble. After practice he's out on the pitch, going over the set plays by himself.

6. Make up your own setting. 8D AU world are fine~

She has a stockpile of food, has created several advanced locks to keep the door shut and is currently busy reinforcing the door with furniture. Interesting things will happen to people who try to a) kick the door down or b) use magic on it.
