insane to think that there is a potential timeline (a canon timeline! you can play this! you can choose this as your personal canon!) where max did not kiss chloe, romanced warren, chose bae over bay, traveled and lived with chloe in some sort of platonic life partner/cheetah-support dog arrangement, had chloe platonically dump her after like five to seven years of this, presumably because she couldn’t handle… whatever this was. and then, when they meet up again in reunion, max finally realizes her feelings twenty-odd years in the making and kisses chloe for the first time. this can be a canon max.
