Hello

Im new to the community and i just got a rat and i have a question. Its a girl and i named her leila. shes about 5.5 weeks old. She has dumbo ears and white body and a greyish blueish hooded head. Yesturday i noticed that her nose was runny a little bit. Its clear from what i can see. I havent heard her sneeze yet but she probably does. She looks heathly besides that not breathing funny or anything. I gave her some toilet paper to build a nest out of and noticed that there were some little red splotches on it that looked like blood. I know red discharge from the eyes and nose can be a signal of illness so i called the pet store/breeder i got her from and they said that she might be irritated by her new bedding or she might be cold (i had my window open the night before) and just to keep an eye on her. What do you guys think i should do? Is there anything else i should be watching for?

thanks

All of the babies from the litters are doing wonderfully.

I've adopted out 6 so far.
2 to my grandmother, back in December.
One to my lovely friend Heidi, taelynne.
And three to another lady I have yet to meet.
If anyone knows anyone else who would be interested, please direct them to this site, and the Nosey Noses website. Thanks kids. :]
