e-book recs?
So I gave into temptation and bought that netbook I've been eyeing for a while. And since it has an amazing 10 hours of battery life (holy Moses! My laptop doesn't even get two anymore, and that's after I replaced the battery) I'm thinking that for my crazy-long day of travel next week (3 planes, 14 hours--ouch!) I want to use it to read long stories. And I thought this would be a good time to explore the world of e-books. Anybody have any recommendations? Preferably long, plotty and slashy, though I will also read het if it's well-written and engaging. (And what online presses should I be looking at? I know about Torquere, though the last two stories I bought from there were kind of disappointing, hence my preference for recs of things people have actually enjoyed).
