Er noe her?

Scandafandom: Fandom in Scandinavian

Hi. I'd like to promote scandafandom: a fandom community for Scandinavian languages.

From the forum's own description (translated from Norwegian):
"Do you speak Norwegian, Swedish or Danish? Are you active in fandom? This is the place for you then! Here you can meet other Scandinavians and talk about fandom related stuff (...)
3. You are welcome as long as you speak a Scandinavian language - you don't have to be Danish, Norwegian or Swedish to join."

As you can see, posting must be done in a Scandinavian language. A great place to practice your Scandinavian and have fun at the same time, in other words. :)))

In Norwegian: Heisann :) Jeg vil gjerne få reklamere litt for scandafandom: et forum for fandom på skandinavisk.

Kanelboller: My very first blog in Norwegian.

Hi there. Started the new year with a new project: My very first blog in Norwegian.
I'll be writing about Brazil, where I come from, and about Norway, where I've been living for 3 years now.
Goal: to practice the language and enrich my vocabulary.
Random fact: I've been keeping a blog in English for 10 years. When I started it, I had the same purpose I have now.
Random suggestion for future readers: correct the mistakes I'll definitely make.
Motto: "Practice makes perfect!"
Friends are welcome :)
Godt nytt år!!

Bookshops

Please help! I've not been practising recently, an want to get back into serious stuudyng. To this end, I'd really like to buy some books - not textbooks, fiction, and maybe a recipe book - but I can't find an online bookshop that will ship Norwegian books to the UK. Do any of you have any recommendations?

TIA

(no subject)

Hello,

Jeg heter Erik.

I'm brand new to the Norwegian language and not so new to the Swedish language. I initially wanted to learn Norwegian, but there was much more information and books available at the library to learn Swedish. They have a few Norwegian books (most of which are in library use only, which is extremely annoying when you have a job and can't dedicate a proper study period at the library) and found that they are very similar which makes learning Norwegian very easy. A few quick questions, though.

If I learn bokmål, and speak bokmål because it's all that I have learned, will I be understood in Norway or will I get confused stares and amused grins?

Secondly, are there any online resources that helped any of you?

Thirdly, which books can you recommend? I found that the Beginner's Guide to Swedish was the biggest help to me in that language, I was wondering if the Norwegian one was as good?

Takk
Erik
