I'm writing an article for my feature writing class (at Towson) on the stereotype of girls losing their virginities on prom night. I need to interview HS students, college freshmen and seniors, and parents of girls. If any of you would be interested in answering some questions, that'd be awesome. Brittany Leader, a senior at NW (you might know her as the editor-in-chief of the Jag Wire), was in a car accident over winter break. Her neck is broken, and it will take some time for her to recover, so we are looking for support for her just to show her that we all care. Please come by the Guidence Office during lunch tomorrow Jan. 4th as there will be a table set up to sign cards. Its free (of course) so it would be great if people would sign the cards for her. She will greatly appreciate it! Please pass this information on.

Has anyone (Class of '05 too) heard about Mrs. Greenlee selling Prom tapes? I helped videotape the event, and don't want all that effort to go to waste. I heard she'd be selling them for $7, but probably more. Thanks.
Oh yeah, now that Nathan Alpert has graduated, I think we'll need a new video camera man for next year...or else all those football games and plays go unrecorded! That wouldn't be good.

The band is trying to go to China in September to play in the Tourism Parade (apparently it’s a really big deal over there) No idea why the Chinese government picked NW to come, but they did and they’re willing to pay for everything except the plane tickets. We’ve been trying to fundraise by selling $25 raffle tickets for a red Ford Mustang Convertible (btw, if you want one, ask a band member) but it’s not going so well. Tomorrow we are having a fundraiser at CALIFORNIA TORTILLA in the Germantown Town Center behind Safeway. If you go there to order and say the word “Jaguar” at any time of the day, the band gets 25% of the bill. It would really help a lot and if you help, then you get me out of your hair for one week in September! Please, I really want to go, and it'll be sad if the trip gets cancelled!!
