Catholic Media Conference
Catholic communicators across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast are invited to attend the 2026 Catholic Media Conference, June 16–19 at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City. Hosted this year in our region, the conference brings together Catholic journalists, parish and diocesan staff, school communicators, ministry leaders, and anyone involved in sharing the Church’s story.
The conference offers inspiring keynote speakers, practical workshops on media, AI, evangelization, and storytelling, daily Mass and prayer opportunities, and time for networking with Catholic communicators from across North America. With Atlantic City just a short drive for many dioceses within four hours, this is a unique opportunity to participate in a national Catholic gathering close to home.
Registration is now open. Learn more and sign up at:

Supreme Court rules New Jersey pregnancy centers can challenge state probe in federal courtThe New Jersey Catholic Conference (NJCC) is the public policy voice for the Catholic Church in New Jersey and the Catholic bishops who lead each of the Garden State's six dioceses. NJCC serves as a liaison to law makers and government agencies and institutions and coordinates communications and activities between the bishops and secular agencies. The six Catholic bishops serve as NJCC's board of directors, or "board of bishops," which is presided over by Cardinal Joseph Tobin, the archbishop of the Archdiocese of Newark.
Founded in 1949, NJCC has proudly served New Jersey's Catholic community for nearly 75 years.
The Catholic Church stands beside all moms and mothers-to-be in need who are contemplating abortion or need help raising their child.
To better assist, NJCC developed a webpage to help moms better understand the many life-affirming resources offered by the Catholic Church, and how to get in touch with them. To learn more, click HERE.
The Catholic Church in New Jersey has committed substantial resources to prevent any abuse of any child at any time by any person. The Church has comprehensive policies in place both to respond to - - and of far more importance - - to prevent the sexual abuse of minors.

The Catholic Church recognizes October as Respect Life Month, where we consider more deeply why every human life is valuable and reflect on how to build a culture that protects life from conception to natural death. To help with the many emotions and challenges that are naturally a part of end-of-life, the NJCC has developed a two-part video series. The first video, which discusses the pastoral response to end-of-life issues, features Jennifer Ruggiero, secretary, Secretariat for Family and Pastoral Life for the Diocese of Metuchen. The second video, which features Charles C. Camosy, Ph.D., professor of medical humanities at the Creighton University School of Medicine, focuses on physician-assisted suicide and the impact it has as it advances in our society.
