[Boosh] We blew our money on haircuts.

This journal is now closed.

Any who wish to keep in touch with me, or get to know me, or just follow me, can still do so at the following locations:

  • [personal profile] nikkiscarlet: My journal - still actively updated, and with complete, imported archive of entries dating back to 2003!

  • [archiveofourown.org profile] nikkiscarlet: My fanfiction!

  • [tumblr.com profile] nikkiscarlet: Reblogging fandom spam!

After ten years, this journal is now closed, and all entries (with the exception of this one and the very first entry, below) have been set to Private. I'm keeping the account itself for now in order to be able to comment on any fannish stuff still taking place on LiveJournal, but will no longer be blogging here. In fact, I haven't blogged directly to this journal since 2009: this journal has been receiving crossposts from my Dreamwidth for over four years, now. As LJ is slowly dying and fading from relevance, I no longer see any reason to continue with crossposting. Finishing it off at the full decade mark seemed fitting. I have a lot of memories from those ten years, and I won't forget LJ's role in them: good, bad, active and passive. Every entry from every one of those years will live on, fully archived for your perusal, over at my Dreamwidth. Should LJ suddenly become a useful, active website again, I might reopen this blog and resume crossposting here, but at the moment this seems unlikely.

Hopping on the bandwagon

Well, it seems I've finally joined the rest of the world. I already have two other online journals . . . but in a moment of boredom and curiosity, I joined LiveJournal.

When did you guys get rid of the codes system, anyway? It sort of took the fun out of the whole thing. ;3 I'm almost hoping you'll start using it again.

I'm currently working on a graphic for this journal's layout, so if anyone stumbles across this journal before I've set it up and actually cares to see it . . . just keep hitting "Refresh" (or "Reload"). It should be there eventually.
