So, this is day four of next to no sleep...
I napped from 7pm unti I woke up at 10. Now my daughter's awake and there's no rest for me for the rest of hte night.
I can't even write because my brain isn't working.

Hello, all. Is anyone else awake tonight?

I was attacked by a wave of sleepiness this afternoon, and subsequently slept all evening... So here I am.

I am listening to The Village soundtrack and whipping up a small bit of fiction that randomly popped into my head. I've no doubt that it will go nowhere, but it feels soothing to write when you're feeling moody, sometimes.

It's not a BAD kind of moody, though. I think it's just nighttime moodiness. Do you guys ever get that?

Anyway, off to do... Something. I have GOT to start getting to sleep before 4am...

I don't want to be left to my own devices, right now.

I am trying to write a letter to my penpal, but it is turning out too dark.

I need someone to turn off my thoughts. Is anyone awake?

So my dad finally made it here after hours of worrying, yelling and pleading.
He's sleeping, the kiddo's sleeping, and I am wide awake... again.
What does everyone else do in the middle of the night?

I know I've been posting in the daytime, lately, but I know it's when some of you Brits are up & about for your night shifts/insomniac wanderings. After all, it's always night somewhere.

Anyway, 3 days left for the photo theme, and I very much hope some more of you will participate. I <333ed lady_mitzi's descriptions of her son.

Oh! And I also wanted to tell you about twitter, in case you haven't heard already. You may think, as I did, that it's a stupid, pointless thing at first, but I've really grown addicted to it... It's a website dedicated to little status updates, like the kind you can do on facebook. You can "follow" people and they'll show up on an f-list with all their recent updates—my name is k_bluebird, but only friend me if you're prepared for a bunch of updates!

I've been really bored lately... I have no job (immigration, lolz.) and no car, so I spend a lot of time at home sleeping and sitting in front of the computer...

Addendum: Oops, forgot my own twitter name... It's actually k_bluebird with an underscore... My bad.

I am up again tonight.
My dad isn't answering his phone, the train people can't tell me where he is, and frankly, I am worried.
I can't sleep because I'm too busy twisting paper into tiny bows in nervous anxiety.

One of my most recent discoveries are the obnoxious, milk-curdling Australian warehouse sale commercials, which apparently have become quite an epidemic over there... At any rate, you can get an idea of just how annoying they are via the first two links. The third link, however, is a nice little parody. Hubby & I walked around the house yelling like that at each other for a good 20 minutes after watching it.

So... What're you guys up to tonight? I'm wide awake with a sunburn stinging my shoulders and arms—every time I lay down on the bed, it scratches against my shoulders and hurts even more, so I'm opting to stay up for a little longer.

Well, I'm still up! I would love to be getting some sleep, you see, but I have the nastiest sunburn on my arms & shoulders. Hubby is being very faithful, cutting me small blocks of cheese, applying lotion, and blowing on my shoulders. Plus, y'know, eye candy.

Oh, and I got hit with a golf ball today. Not a pleasant experience. Luckily it was just a putt of sorts, but it hit some rough terrain and bounced up to hit me in the leg. I have a nice, circle-shaped bruise forming.

Um, I guess I just wanted to complain. I actually had a really fun day...
