Religion is very difficult for me to describe. Take the idea of "writer's block" well I have religion block. I don't even know what to think of religion let alone describe it.

 

            Drama is like the spirit of Satan. God said that you have to invite the devil’s spirit in yourself for him to get to you, but you can command him to leave. “Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve.” – Mathew 4:10. Not that I condone Atheism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in The Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. Now please realize that I am merely warning against submission and worship to this dreadful thing called drama.

Now to analyze the issue at hand, what is drama? Well, drama was first invented for the purpose of entertainment, and if you stop and think about it then it is quite hysterical. William Shakespeare was one of the first people to be able to analyze characteristics of human beings and portray them through drama. This brought popularity to theater for the rest of time to come. Now, take note that this drama was intended to stay on stage for actors to act like written characters. The times have changed. In society today there are two major types of drama…one is Hollywood, the other less favorable but unfortunately more common is now known as just drama. People have taken on roles and have begun to pretend and act in real life. Words like “Gossip” and “Rumors” are becoming common in the vocabularies of Americans everywhere. News of similar tragedies in surrounding countries: In the south Mexicans are yelling “chismes - cotilleo” while in the north Canadians scream “Goossip!” This must stop. Humans just weren’t meant to live like this.

            So ladies and gentlemen do not fret, do not tremble. I have a solution. When you begin to come in contact with said drama, look it straight in the eye and say to it: “Get thee hence, Drama!” You don’t have to get involved with it. You don’t have to submit to its behavior. If one of your friends is being too dramatic, tell them to shut up and get over it. Trust me; you will be doing them a favor. I say it once more; a person should not believe in an -ism. By some satanic power it has merely taken a different form, but on the inside drama is an ism. So remember; do not submit to it, do not worship it. You have the power to say no. Stay above the influence.

Well, we are finally done with Mass Media. It was probably the most work I have ever put into a single class, but it sure was the most fun class I have ever taken. So that is finally overwith and I guess I am like this famous star now or something. I don't know fame is'nt all that it has cracked up to be. Well other than that I have just been really busy with school. I am a slacker and now I have to catch up to make sure that I graduate. I would'nt want to dissapoint all my friends and family by not graduating this year. It would be quite embarrasing. I am most assured of it. Well I am still working on getting my camera, hopefully that will be soon. It is getting late now and I should probably go to bed. Sleep is surely the more important of matters at the moment. So goodnight to all.

Fact: the opposite of a hypocrite is an honestcrite. Yes I coined that phrase myself. Copyright pending, but you can still quote me if you want. Honest meaning true, hypo meaning lie, and crite meaning person.

                The hypocrisy formula was probably fabricated by some great theoretical mathematician. The formula is as follows: hypocrisy = the absolute value of (beliefs – actions). Now in theory, if our beliefs are equal to our action, then hypocrisy will equal zero. It must be taken into consideration that “beliefs” is an independent variable, and that our actions should actually depend on the beliefs. We cannot change our beliefs to justify our actions.

                A hypocrite is essentially a liar. When you say that you’re going to do something, or have said that you believe in something. But your actions say something very different; you have at this point lied. A mother teaches her child to use good language. When she herself swears regularly, what is the child likely to believe? Her words say don’t but her actions say do.

                So I ask you, what does a hypocrite have at the end of the day? For example: there is this guy that I work with. For privacy sake we will call him Joe. Well he barely got promoted to assistant manager. Now Joe is always getting mad at everyone else for being late in the morning. But he himself is fifteen minutes late coming back from work, almost every day. Every Friday, he quits work an hour early. Nobody likes Joe anymore, and most of us have lost a lot of trust in him. So what did he gain? Well nothing really, if anything it was a loss for Joe. What do you think might have happened had Joe been more of an honestcrite?

                An honestcrite, someone who’s actions follow their beliefs. When we say something we believe and our actions are saying the same thing. This is being honest. Or when we tell somebody to do something like tucking in their shirt, and we also follow this rule. This is being honest.
