Been very lax on the old lj lately... it's mainly the fault of tumblr, damn but that site's uber addictive!

I was thinking about the reaction of a friends husband when I tried to explain 'slash' to him. He was all.. yea, girl on girl, all for that, but when I explained that for me, and a huge fanbase, slash was all about guy on guy, he got very quiet and uncomfortable.. Now I iknow that I'm incredibly lucky in that I'm with Mr Spacenewt who accepts my little kinks without fear or intimidation. He knows that my fantasies are just that, fantasies. The reaction of my friends husband though, it made me wonder if women sexualy, as far as many men are concerned, really are equals. If it's considered OK for a man to fantasise about 2 women together, shouldn't it be equaly valid for a woman to enjoy imagining 2 guys together.? It certainly doesn't diminish my appreciation of lone males and their attributes!
While I was offline I started watching the new Spartacus (basicly because it was the only thing that looked vaguely interesting on free Tv :-( ) and I got totaly hooked on it. Now I'm back online I've watched them all and cried buckets at the end so, feeling lost without my gorgeous guys and Roman shenanigans I come online to look for fanfic and find virtualy nothing! What's going on here? Have my googling skills failed me ? If ever a series cried out for fic and lots of it it's this one. Tell me there's tons of communities out there with quality fiction that I've somehow missed...... please! :-(
I've been offline for the last 7 months 'cause I couldn't afford to pay my phone bill, I managed to get a small budgeting loan so I'm back online again and Gawd, it's so good to be back ! Healthwise some pretty crappy things have been happening. I'm having allsorts of trouble walking, the Dr's say it's to do with my circulation ( Hardly surprising as I'm not exactly sylph like, plus I've smoked since I was 14 ). Another joy is that I developed carpal tunnel syndrome, which I had always thought was a bit of a joke illness... boy was I wrong! It was so painful I couldnt use my right hand at all which sucked royaly. It's mostly gone now but I've been left with numbness in the ends of my fingers...
Aki has done a custom Cas morph.... you don't need the M4 morphs for this and it will work in both Poser and Daz studio.
I think she's got his mouth pretty much spot on. It's a great starting point for you to make your own Cas character (you just can't redistribute Aki's morphs) if you want to tweak it 'till it works for you ;-D
