I may have set a record...

LJ tells me it's been nine weeks since I updated.  Oops.  Since then, I've flown to Seattle, to go to DMB concerts at the Gorge.  I've driven to Gainesville and WPB for more DMB.  I've finished up the purchases of my taping rig.  I've done some other stuff, but I don't have time to get into it now.

I am attempting NaBloPoMo again, over at my other blog.  Hopefully I can keep up.

So that's that for now.

teh intertubes are br0ken

My internet connection has been incredibly flaky for the last two hours or so.  It works, then it doesn't work, then it barely works.  A speed test showed about 34k down, 134k up (should be around 3Mb down, 384k up).  Apparently it's a problem for Bellsouth/AT&T all over the region.  I called tech support, but gave up after being on hold for 10 minutes or so.  Even the hold music was cutting in and out.  Not fun.  It's taking me forever to do stuff that should take far less time...

edit: Forgot to mention that when things first went south, I was trying to do an itunes upload. It stalled out (presumably because it couldn't download anymore), and when I tried starting itunes, it wouldn't start -- said it wasn't there. I've been trying to download the itunes installer from Apple's site, but that keeps stalling out. I *think* things may be back to normal now, but I'm sure I'll be proven wrong momentarily.

  • Colin Hay - Overkill: I heard it on someone's MySpace.  I think it was also used in an episode of Scrubs.

  • Ben Harper - Better Way: Again, MySpace.  (I think.)  Really good song.

  • Ryan Adams - Desire: Used in an episode of The West Wing ("King Corn", season 6).  One of a number of songs on my West Wing playlist.
