Back in the day I posted on LJ all the time, multiple times a day, but that's not so much the case anymore. These days I barely post to me own journal more than once a month, but I keep intending (and failing) to change that.
Fact is I post to my communities more than my own LJ; in more busy times I was the admin for 100 communities... and they all stilll exist, but like with everything else they're not as active as they used to be.
Why do I stick with livejournal? Mainly because I have a permanent account, but also this place just really works for me on certain levels.
Mostly looking for those that post in English, but browsers do have translators in them so there are no absolutes on that. Be somewhat crazy... every little bit helps.
I do feel livejournal is still alive and buzzing, but friends come and go, some stay longer, others not so much. I'm in dire need of new friends so I decided to host a friendzy, come in and join me! Please share this friendzy in different groups, I feel lj can be quite incestuous with the same people on each other's friends lists :)

It’s been a while, but I’m back on LJ after almost a decade of blogging as an ‘influencer’ and I’m looking for people to get to know/share my life with.
I’m 33, I live in the U.K. (Yorkshire) with my son and I’m a nail technician starting her own business (during lockdown, fun times). My life is a whirlwind at the moment as I pick up the pieces of my breakup, family illness and concerns regarding privacy.

Hi Everyone,I'm Harry,I'm new here, First time using LJ actually (My Friend introduced me to it) I don't really do social media (Just this and Whatsapp) I'm 42, I'm a stock broker and financial consultant (Straight out of WallSt) well I'm a freelance forex broker now(Trying to run my own show), When I'm not working i love to swim, travel, hike, sky dive, listen to country music and drive, I'm a Digital nomad and i do all my work remotely(so i have time for my adventures) i also get to travel a lot and i love to meet new people (Online and offline), I'm single and open to anyone that's inspiring, i love the magical ones😍😍 and the loving ones too, I've had my heart tossed around and played with a couple of times in the past, so I'm a bit restrained and reserved(please bear with me) I'm open-minded and jovial but I'm still a bit of an introvert(curled up in my shell sometimes) I'm looking forward to meeting great people here in search of friendships and relationships (whichever I'm blessed with) so just message me or drop a comment if you feel the need to (let's get talking😉☺)
