Geophysics, or the study of Earth using the tools and methods of physics, is often understood to have begun in the post-WWII period. However, the period between the world wars saw ferment and innovation in the field, and the emergence of the term geophysics itself.
Seeking additional chapters for The Handbook of Ecofeminist Drama to complement the 43 confirmed chapters from over 20 countries listed below. Proposals are due 15 June 2026. The Handbook is under review with the University of Illinois Press.
