NCIS Bang Challenge community information

The NCIS Reverse Challenge:
Watch for sign-ups to open in November, stories to post in May.

You no longer need to have an LJ or DW account to participate in our challenges! You may now sign up and check in via email.
Our claims are now run via email. Anyone who chooses not to make a community post to DW or LJ will need to send links to the mod via email on their scheduled posting date.

Feel free to spread the word around to those who may be interested.
Our goal is to have a few new NCIS stories and artwork to share at the end of each challenge.

Art claims are now held via email. Participants are notified of their successful claims via email. Results are also posted at the DW and LJ communities.

Note to participants:

*All participants are responsible to stay in contact with their partner and the challenge moderator as needed.
*There is no need to communicate you are dropping out PRIOR to being assigned to a partner Artist/Author.
(For the Big Bang/Multi-Bang: No penalty for signed up Authors who do not submit rough drafts for the claim. No penalty for signed up artists who do not make a claim.
For the Reverse Bang: No penalty for signed up Artists who do not submit art. No penalty for signed up Authors who do not claim artwork.)
*If you need to drop out for any reason AFTER you have been assigned a partner, please notify both your partner and the challenge mod you are dropping. Failure to communicate that you are dropping from the challenge once you are assigned a partner will lead to being banished from future challenges at mod's discretion.
*All participants are responsible to watch this community for updates and announcements and to adhere to the posted challenge schedule.
*All participants are responsible to verify that they have posting access prior to their scheduled posting date.
*Participants should verify that they have joined the community and are listed as members, rather than just watching the community.
*Only members can be given posting access. This is a manual process. Access will be given to members who are on the schedule for the current challenge.

***URGENT NOTE***
On 01/08/2026 - I am not currently able to create NEW posts to this community, but can update THIS post. I was NOT able to create a new post for the Reverse Bang Art Submissions. I keep getting a FORBIDDEN message. I will continue to TRY. I'm hoping this is a temporary glitch that they can resolve soon.
This could also be an issue if I'm not able to post the claims images here.
Again, I'll keep trying, but you can also check our DreamWidth community for any posts about the 2026 Reverse Bang.

- We must receive your rough draft or hear from you by this date. If we do not hear from you or receive your rough draft by this date, your claim may be reassigned to a backup author.
