This is the funniest new thing I’ve learned today about the Swedish/Danish cultural exchange.
The Swedes have these adorable cakes called Prinsesstårta aka Princess Cakes.
When I saw this I thought “Oh! I know those! We have the same thing here in Denmark!”
The same thing? These beauties.
I persent to you, the Kajkage aka Kaj Cake. They’re smaller but pretty much made of the same ingredients and they have fan clubs dedicated to finding the ugliest versions at bakeries. They’re named after the frog Kaj from an old children’s show.
I have a strong suspicion some Dane saw a Prinsesstårta and thought “If I added eyes and a mouth…”
OP you can't just say this and then not show us the really ugly ones
life-ennder asked:
were you raised religiously?

Pro-censorship wattpad refugees drama is so funny to me because when I started using ao3 as a kid I was a devout mormon and I thought that reading anything even remotely pornagraphic was a sin and would ruin my life. So when I was 13 and found ao3 I went "oh awesome I found a fanfic website with a filtering system so I won't ever randomly stumble into porn. This is great! I was really worried about seeing something I didn't want to see on the other platforms." I didn't read any smut online until like three years later. If a mormon 13 year old can figure out 'don't like don't read' wattpad users can too cmon you guys i believe in you.
pouring one out for the AO3 Abuse Team people who will be flooded with false reports from Wattpad refugees about "disgusting" tags
It turns out the True Riddle was "How do you build a child's confidence?"
As the New Sphynx grew, so did her love for those who were paitent, thoughtful, and kind. She began accepting a diversity of answers to her riddles, and would let a traveler pass if they could explain their reasoning without becoming rude or aggressive.
So did her hatred for the unkind, the selfish, and the self important. Even if they gave the right answer, she'd eat them anyway as not to make Her People Suffer Fools.
Its not the way her momma did it, but that doesn't stop Granny Sphynx from beaming with pride.
It turns out the True
Riddle was “How do you build
a child’s confidence?”
Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
