I hardly use this place anymore...so RANDOM UPDATE.

First up.....
MILO is over 5 months old now. Doesnt seem that long ago that we had him in the hospital for his Jaundice. Hes bigger than 98% of babies his age and longer than 75% of them. So I am destined to be the midget in this branch of the McDade family tree.

Secondly.....
Been reading as much as possible; doing the 50 book challenge this year. On book 15. Now looking like I will hit 50. Thats what having a slow reading pace and doing night feeds at the weekend will do to your reading. :(

also......
I have been mostly listening too...

Milo Hospital Update...

Well the little man went back in to Hospital because of high Jaundice levels. He was on Phototherapy for quite a bit and is now in a room with Jen. His tests for all the usual causes have came back clear and his liver is fine so they are doing blood culture tests to see what they can find.

He has dropped below 300 today and they start treatment when they pass the 350 mark, so if he continues to drop that will be great.  He was all the way up to 470ish so its a good big drop.

I will update when I find out whats causing his jaundice.

Andriy Shevchenko has a new coach

I have lost faith in the man as a fottballer after his superb diving ability proved that this is his better occupation. Fucking shoddy referee not able to see the lack of contact on both occasions. Shevchenko I used to admire you....but scoring from the spot isn't how I remember your flair!

Amsterdam (part 1)

So Amsterdam has been and gone and what fun we all had. I trired my best to take some good photos, but alcohol has a funny effect on the good old camera finger. But here are the ones I got with a brief description of what was going on...etc, etc....hic!!

(note: these pictures are from Thursday night onwards..the cat being the only picture from the thursday..we sent the most part of the night looking for the Hard Rock Cafe...what a jaunt that was)

work keeps me busy...who'd have thought

So I did try to keep this place updated more than it has been, but with the new work i've been given comes more and more responsibility and less time......so here it is flash int he pan styleee:-
Since May I have.....been to Download festival and had the best time yet..finally got to see Gn'R..not up to much, Tool also disapointed. Metallica stole the show with the track by track performance of MASTER OF PUPPETS...got promoted at work. I worked a lot of the the rest of June and most of July with only stopping in between to get a few new albums and my nice shiney XBOX 360!!! get in! Actually a wonderful machine and the graphics really need a HDTV but with the news to follow you'll understand why i am holding back....done some artwork for a band that got fucked due to my base unit at work going tits up, so I am reworking that in my spare time, which has taken another hit due the wife not being able to do much these days..COS SHE IS PREGNANT!! YAY!! WOOP!! So with my daily routine verging on the get up, goto work, get home, do housework, have food, go to bed...you can see why i have no spare time. We recently got the scan of the baby and it giggled about as if it was trying to replicate my 'dad dancing'....find out the sex in a month or so....efven with the lack of spare time I recenetly managed spent a glorious weekend at a caravan park with the inlaws....had a really good time, which I thought I might not...ha, the culture shock....this weekend (actually this thursday) i jet out to Amsterdam until Sunday. So i'll have some catching up to do when I get back to work on Tuesday. Monday I will be crecovering and doing housework (more than likely). Woo how exciting do I sound.

I also have started jamming on acoustic covers with an old friend and we seem to be good so far. Once we get great then we can get some of out own shit out there.....If I remember anything else from the past 3 months that warrents an update i'll let you know......

Commiserations

Commiserations to Thierry Henry for last night. I was sure you'd fulfil your dream, maybe next time.

The little documentary about him before the game got me thinking he deserved to complete that medal collection on home soil.

Also gutted about the Lehmann decision, but hey, he deserved what he got. Silly cunt, is Pires still talking to you?? Last game at Arsenal and you fuck it up for him.....Oh, and, that goal should have stood. Remember the 'advantage' rule Terje Hauge you wank.

Actually, I'd agree with Henry that you didnt do your job last night, but in someways that was good. Eboue should have been booked in the second half for persistant fouling as should Puyol. But for Eboue that would have ended in a red. There where guilty parties on both sides and they kinda ruined a game that I thought was gonna be amazing considering the talent on show. Ljunberg did prove to me why he is one of my favourite players last night...total workhorse.

Congrats to Barca, they did deserve it in the end...but one final question...what the fuck has happened to Ronaldihno?? He was shite last night...even larsson outshined him.
