LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Anna Chlumsky, who played Macaulay Culkin's pal in the 1991 feature "My Girl," has landed a lead role in CW's comedy pilot "Eight Days a Week."
The project centers on four twentysomethings who work under the top movers and shakers in New York City. Chlumsky will play one of them, a girl-next-door personal assistant to an egomaniacal Web site publisher.
She recently appeared in episodes of "30 Rock" and "Law & Order."

So this means Anna might be on TV this fall! And how come I didn't know she was doing 30 Rock and Law & Order? Dang! I'm going to have to try to catch those in reruns.
I remember this movie! I first watched it when I was seven, and devistated when Thomas died. I can recall crying my eyes out at it! Then a few months ago caught it on a movie channel, watched it, and yet again ended up in tears. Right now I am searching the web for screencaps to make some icons. Will post them when done!!!
Hey, it's the obligatory "first post", here. Welcome to the new "My Girl/My Girl 2" LJ community! Please feel free to use this community when you feel like discussing the movies, sharing a favorite quote or moment, asking questions, or posting your creations, such as LJ icons, wallpapers, and... I don't know what else.:)
