Manga to study Japanese for older audience.

Some titles for learning Japanese, which will be interesting for adults.
All of these are quality works with well written characters, interesting stories and nice art.
Some have anime versions.
I am familiar with them enough to think they are captivating enough to read despite difficulties, and to read multiple times.
From easiest to hardest, based on vocabulary, genre and furigana option.

ZERO sexualization of minors, which is sadly very refreshing due to being rare as hell.
Currently seems to be the easiest from the list due to really simple everyday language and clear art (for example Bleach is super old, which makes kanji hard to read, while Oran Host Club has bulky panel format, also hard to read visually).

One of the best rom-coms out there (premise is misleading), super cute and wholesome!! well written characters and no regular sexualization of schoolgirls (for example, female bath fantasy is literally mocked as unrealistic).
Popular tall curvy girl, who is actually an awkward glutton. A loner short guy, who deconstructs his own prejudices and grows as a person through his friendship with the female lead.
characters are middle schoolers, but it isn't particularly noticeable, the story flow similar to high school anime.

One of my favorites, and not because of gore but despite it. Very interesting horror mystery with some comedic moments. Weird stuff happens in a small village. I eat hed all the anime including remake, and it is still interesting story to follow, despite how much repetitive elements there are (and there's as much of it as gore elements). Art may be weird because it's quite outdated, but it's simple and the characters are endearing, so you'll forget about it in no time.
