Haha yes, GTO is a very wild and interesting anime of its time. I don't think shows can be made like that anymore that's for sure lolol. The Vice Principal was too too funny.

Monogatari is good but lots of text, it can overwhelm a lot of new watchers if they're not ready. There's also a lot of nuance in its writing and benefits from full attention span. Not something you can watch while gaming or doing chores haha

Ooh Scissor Seven. That's a Chinese Anime! Was it lots of fun? What would you compare it to.

And from when we last chat -- I had finished Kaijuu No 8 Season 2 and then took a break for a bit after watching Monogatari Off & Monster Season. December has been a busy time for me and my family.

Definitely respect that. Naruto was definitely better when things were on a smaller much simpler scale.
