With Little Witch Academia i felt that more than the pacing it just didn't have much substence

I haven't reached Boruto yet, but Naruto also has some pacing issue moments

If you want more mystery themed donghua Aiyo de Mishi is quite intriguing, think this is the only donghua rec i have though

Other than that for mystery Apothecary diaries is great, it's set in ancient china too if that's something that interest you, Migi to Dali's also really good if you're ok with a more comedic approach, but if you're looking for a combo of mystery + supernatural elements my top rec is Oshi no Ko, though this is with reincarnation, if you're looking for something specifically with time travel maybe Erased might be down your alley

Oh, one more donghua you might like, though it doesn't really hare any similarities with Shiguang, is Da Wang Rao Ming, it does however heva a similar style to Solo Leveling which i noticed you rated quite highly

Ngl... so far the pacing is excruciatingly slow 🥲 the more SOL scenes are cute though

Animation-wise, it is slightly better than s2, but i think part of the reason for that is that there's less actual animation overall, aka lots of still shots, i'm guessing they may be saving the budget for big battle finale
