Welcome to my profile!
While other mages waste time studying spells, ancient texts, and self-control, the Rune Soldier prefers a far more efficient strategy... kick shit down, punching the monsters, and hope things just work out. Every quest, every adventure, and at least one completely avoidable disaster is always "Ohfun". Yet with dumb luck, reckless confidence, and a supernatural immunity to embarrassment, Louie becomes a hero without a cause. In a world full of swords and sorcery, the Rune Soldier stands proud as a patron saint of chaotic "Dumbassery"!
This section is dedicated to "Agent AIka" and "Najica Blitz Tactics". Because Panty Fanservice and Anime go hand in hand. Anime is one of the only mediums that exists that can actually articulate and execute such thing in such a sagacious way depicted in action sequences. Also no other medium can make action look so sexy the way Anime can.

I read something somewhere a while back that market oversaturation and declining dvd sales was a major part of all that. I guess the whole thing just imploded. lol
I had that same thing happen with the two rare Blood+ box sets when I bought them on ebay. The guy lived close to me in the same state. I could of actually drove and got it. lol
It definitely has to do with the rise of streaming in my opinion, when you pay for a service that puts a lot of product at your fingertips, unless you've collected a long time or are wary of locking your life in to the internet as the only way to do things (that'd be more my stance), why would you collect physical media? And if you wanted to stop paying, or never wanted to pay in the first place, for sure you'd go find methods to have a huge library at your disposal.
Yeah, people shit on Angel Cop, ultraviolent and all that, plus that last episode speech or whatever, but why would I let fiction morally bother me all that much? It's stupid, it's not real life. I look for entertainment as much as artistic value in a piece of media, not much of a critical thinker when it comes to art as a whole. So if it looks entertaining, or aesthetically pleasing, and the price point is fine, then fuck that 6.09 rating, I'm buying that for 5 bucks. Worst case, I hate it, and I donate it or something, so some dude that grew up watching it can re-experience it again.
Users here don’t even just look for validation, it’s almost like they think pirating is their noble birthright lol. To do it is one thing, but to boast about it is just ridiculous haha.
But yeah, I’ll definitely advocate for physical media, if you couldn’t tell haha. I’ve got some nice OVAs on DVD coming in, took a flyer on Angel Cop for 5 bucks and got Fatal Fury the same way. The KOR OVAs too, some of my favorites. While I mainly collect Blu-rays, the amount of DVDs I’ve amassed isn’t huge, but I got a fair bit now of anime that’s on DVD, tailor made for the box TV I got (a nice Toshiba). Really does make a difference watching old DVDs on a CRT versus on a 4K TV.
I like Shannon and Pacifica the most with Christopher in third place.
People should view digita stuffl as more like a access point and not a library which I say only something physical could be called a library or collection.
Personally I have never had a harddrive fail on me but then again I usually get a new one after like 5 years back when I used harddrives.
