The splash page replicates the cover. Alan Scott works for radio station WXYZ in the story. Artist Toth depicts G.L. striking a villain on the jaw and leaving a "green lantern" emblem behind. Green Lantern doesn't charge his ring or repeat the oath in this story, and Doiby doesn't appear.
