I learned this year, after 10+ years of being a muslim, that there are three stages of Ramadan.  There will always be something new to learn in Islam, and I guess I needed the reminder.  Below are a few links explaining the three stages of Ramadan.

I neglected to post information about the 2d of the two primary Muslim holidays which was observed 11/5-7.  I always try to allow three days for the holidays.  Now, I'm not a holiday kinda person.  I can take one day or leave it much as the next.  But, I do try to make an effort to make the day, at least one of the three, special in some way.  I failed this year.  I guess I'm letting stressers of my current life really take a toll, but that's not really important.  Below, you'll find a link to wiki's info on the holiday, Eid al Adha.
