Week 166: Organization
Muse: Mycroft Holmes (BBC Sherlock)
Word count: 170
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters in this fan work, nor do I profit thereby.
Mycroft has never, in his life, been tempted to vandalize. Never. In his life. It bore repeating, with emphasis on 'never'. The very concept went against his core, grated against the organization of his mind.
But on a rare occasion he walked instead of took a car, and smoked, and thought, and wandered London fearless as Sherlock, his umbrella a reassurance at his side, he felt it. Temptation to vandalize.
I believe in Sherlock Holmes, the wall stated in bright yellow letters, (no uncertain terms) and scrawled to the side, covering over a previously painted assertion of gang ownership of this bloc, a second hand, red-painted savagery, Moriarty was real!
He reached into his pocket, removing the fine-tipped felt marker he kept there. He liked how they wrote. He wrote on the wall, in perfect, flowing script, I fight John Watson’s war.
He stepped away, pocketing the marker, and felt a vicious thrill... there was something of an appeal, after all, he thought, as he walked on, lighting another cigarette.
Wow!

and it's a wonderful bit of import laid
after "The Reichenbach Fall."
