[At first, the girl who comes in the door -- well, not a girl really so much as a slight woman in her early twenties who carries herself in a nervous, girlish fashion -- anyway, the girl who comes in the door doesn't even notice she's not in the place she expected to be. About five foot five, with brown hair pulled into a messy bun, wearing a long white labcoat, pale blue blouse and khaki pants, round reading glasses on, holding a tablet PC and entirely distracted by it. And the pen, which she continuously taps on the side of the computer.]
I really wish you worked better - oh.
[Dawning realization that this is not the cafeteria; her eyes widen a tiny bit and quickly take in the fact she seems to have found herself in some sort of pub instead.]
This is getting old, you know. Very tiring. First the microscopes are broken, then the pen is lagging, then the cafeteria is replaced by something else ...
[She sighs and sits down, and tries to avoid having to talk. Tries to avoid the fact that people are looking at her and expecting her to say something, which is evident enough -- they don't know her, she should introduce herself, she can't blame anyone for that. But, instead, she says nothing and goes back to looking at the computer.
Which still isn't functioning.
Her face ends up in her hands for a moment before she gives in.]
All right you win, okay -- hello. I'm -- call me Nell. I - er, I'm a biochemist, grad student? [Hesitation; another assessment of her surroundings.] Also an air mage. And ... no, actually, that's it. I think.

Something go wrong today? Other than the computer and microscopes?
