MOVIE QUIZ IV: THE REVENGE

Welcome to "Movie Quiz IV: The Revenge" Community.
10 screen caps, 10 chances to avoid your utter DOOM! The Movie Quiz has returned from the depths, and this time it wants blood.

ACT II Has Begun!!

PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE JOINING!
You must join the community in order to play.

· Each week a set of 10 movie and/or television screen caps will be posted labeled 1 through 10. All you need to do is guess the movie or television show for each screen cap and email us the answers at moviequiziv@gmail.com

· We will never post screen caps from movies that have not been released on DVD and/or VHS within the USA. All screen caps from television shows will only be from shows, seasons, and episodes that have been released on DVD and/or VHS.

· A new quiz will be posted each Friday. The answers and winners for the previous quiz will be posted Friday night or Saturday. The deadlines for each weeks quizzes are : 3pm PST / 4pm MST / 5pm CST / 6pm EST – ON FRIDAY. Any answers submitted after the cutoff time will not be counted.

· Answers must contain the full name of the movie, including which part (2,3, etc.) if it’s a sequel. For example:
Scream
Scream 2
Scream 3
If the movie has a subsequent title or a sequel title it must be included. For
example:
Cyborg 3: The Recycler
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

· If there is a typo or misspelling in the title it will be incorrect, for example, "Solarbaby" will not count as "Solarbabies". Likewise, "The Hunt for Red Octoebr" will not count as "The Hunt for Red October". This is to make it fair seeing that there is a prize involved.

The Two Divisions Of Competition

The two divisions are: The"Ebert Division"(Heavyweights) for the ubergeeks that continually score high on the quizzes, and the "Siskel Division" (Lightweights) for those who may have a life outside of watching movies and TV shows. The Siskel and Ebert Divisions will use the same quizzes to compete, but will only compete with other members within their divisions. The Ebert Division will be working toward 200 points while the Siskel Division will be working toward 100 points to win. Both Divisions will have independent prize packs. If members of the Siskel Division begin to out perform the division they will be moved to the Ebert Division, judgment made by unanimous decision of the moderators. Community members will have to decide which division to compete in.

SCORING

· Each Quiz willhave a varing point total. Screen caps will be "weighted", meaning they will have different point values depending on difficulty. These values will be listed with the screen caps and bonuses.

Movie Screen Caps = Various Point Values
TV Screen Caps = Various Point Value for Show Title, One point for Season, & One Point for Episode Title
Correct Theme = 3points

*There may or may not be a theme to any one quiz*
**We reserve the right to add bonus screen caps and/or bonus questions to any quiz.**
***We reserve the right to have bonus rounds, though not often, consisting of anything related to movies and/or popular TV shows.***

It is not necessary to know or even guess all 10 screen caps in order to participate. You can send a submission with as few or as many answers as you choose.

PENALTIES
Do not leave a comment revealing any answers or giving hints as to what an answer maybe. To do so will void the screen cap, theme, or entire quiz. If a person voids a screen cap or theme their running score will be reduced to zero. If a person voids an entire quiz their running score will be reduced to zero and their membership revoked.

CURRENT PRIZES & WINNING
The same person CAN NOT win the prize for two contests in a row. You can score the winning total of points and take first place but will not win the prize or prizes. You can win contest No.1 and No. 3, but not No.1 and No.2. This is to make sure that everyone has a fair chance at receiving the prize. Each time someone reaches the point total to win, the scores will be wiped clean and a new contest will begin.
If two or more members cross the point total to win on the same quiz, the member with the overall higher score will take first place. In the event of a multi-member tie for first, there will be a special bonus round (for those members only) of three screen caps to determine the winner. There can be only one winner. The bonus rounds will continue until, there can be only one… winner.
