Would anyone like to co-mod an MK rpg kommunity with me, either on LJ, IJ, or yahoo groups? There's so many MK fans, I thought it'd be neat to flex our creativity a little.

And if not a community, would anyone be interested in sharing a line with me? We can discuss plots and characters. Promise it'll be fun and worth the effort.

Champions of Champions Elite - Muay Thai

I'll be totally honest with everyone.

I work for a show called Champions of Champions Elite. It airs on G4TV. My job is basically to go around trolling message boards to get people to go to the site, or to watch the show. I'm getting kinda bored of the ol' bait and switch routine so i thought I'd tell the truth for once. Seriously, you try signing up to several hundred forums a week and see how it feels.

Is anyone here interested in Muay Thai? The show is basically just that. A bunch of guys and women wailing on each other using this particular martial art. The official site also has a contest that looks for the world's best gamer or something.

So, if you wanna check it out, go ahead. If not, ignore me, or ban me, or whatever.

If you do like it, I'd like to hear why. What do you think about Muay Thai? About the show? About our site? I'm genuinely interested in your opinion. For real. No lie.

Raiden and Kitana Music Video gets Derailed by Kung Lao's Musical Circus.

Gosh, I don't know whether or not anybody is interested in this type of thing here, but I guess I'll give it a shot anyway!

This is a Mortal Kombat Conquest music video I almost made. I tried to make a Raiden and Kitana video just to see whether or not it could be done. Surprisingly, it can, which I'm rather proud of since these two characters never had any scenes together in MK Conquest. GOD, IT'S SO CHEESEY THAT IT HURTS A LITTLE INSIDE!!! The video was going pretty well when Kung Lao arrived and completely ruined things. Ass.



A bit of backstory as to why I was making a Raiden and Kitana video in the first place: Okay, so it's no secret that I'm a Mortal Kombat fan. The games have been a favourite of mine since I was a kid. The movies....not so much. They sucked. A lot. The first one is kind of fun, but the second one is honestly the worst movie you'll ever see. Then there was the TV series, Mortal Kombat Conquest. God, I loved this show so much when I was 11, despite it's obvious flaws. I still kind of love it now. My favourite pairing has always been Raiden and Kitana. NO, SHUT UP, IT MAKES SENSE!! Screw Liu Kang, she'd just outlive him anyway! Raiden and Kitana are fighting on the same side, they have the same goals and neither of them ever age. There, I said it. Look, I came up with the idea when I was a kid and I still stick to it today.
They're probably my only AU pairing and yes, it's really obscure.
I originally started this video as a joke. I was just playing around in Vegas one day and decided to see whether or not I could actually edit a Raiden and Kitana music video. I deliberately chose the cheesiest song I could find and began editing. Scary thing is...it worked. It REALLY worked. Well, this is basically as far as I got with the idea, but who knows?
Maybe one day I'll finish it.
