FFFX 2023 Letter (Final version)

Hi-hello and thank you for (potentially) writing for me. This is my first time writing a letter for an exchange event, so please bear with me.

Nothing on this page is necessary; just treat it as extra information to get a clearer picture of what I like/some more or less vague ideas – if that helps you in any way. If not, feel free to disregard this entirely! I’ll be happy about anything I get, and will be forever grateful to anyone who put time and effort into creating something for me.

Onto the rambling!

Hannibal. Will/Hannibal. As I said I am still a baby Fannibal, so I am very open to (almost) anything. As long as it feels like Hannibal and Will have genuine love for each other (i.e it is not just Hannibal playing a game with Will for his own good), I am open to any kind of exploration of the fucked-upness inbetween. Leaving all of that out would also feel a bit off, I think. But otherwise, feel free to play around with them to your heart’s content.

Succession. Roman & Kendall. Basically what first came to mind as a prompt idea was some sort of trigger/catalyst event like Roman getting outed against his will, having a different secret/past abuse revealed or once again being abused in some way in front of others (i.e explored/only hinted at in flashbacks or told chronologically) and the immediate aftermath of it all. This is just an idea, though! You do not have to integrate this into your story.

You can include other characters, like Shiv and Connor, too – heck you can even include best boy Stewy - but obviously the main focus should be on Roman and Kendall.

On that note, I don’t care whose POV it’s told from - Kendall has his own mountain of problems that you can work into this if you want to (e.g him having to deal/care for his brother while dealing with his addiction issues, for example OR Roman having to deal with those problems in whatever capacity you see fit) - or it could be more of a character study/about how one of them handles the other’s attempts at comfort/meddling, whether they seek comfort from each other at all or not,... the list goes on. Does Roman see his father in Kendall? How is the topic of his/their abuse handled between them? How do they relate to each other? How do they function together?

The Succession characters are all so incredibly nuanced and complicated, I can see either of them going down a hundred different paths, so really, the world is your oyster! Feel free to explore.

Jujutsu Kaisen. Megumi/Yuuji. I don’t know why but whenever I think about writing Megumi I think about him and death, him and killing. For some reason I like to project a whole philosophical debate, or like an ontological dilemma onto him, i.e how does he handle killing things, and people? What does that make him, in his eyes, especially in the context of his upbringing? And Yuuji, to me, contrasts very nicely to that. He has very similar motives, but seems like a great anti-mirror? to Megumi, in that I think one could very nicely project the other half of the debate onto him. (I’m sorry if none of this makes sense.) Also the relationship aspect is also very interesting of course! But I mostly just find them cute together <3

TL;DR: They can be aged up slightly, i.e out of school and working as actual sorcerers, or still in school. Feel free to make this as plot-driven or as plotless as you see fit.

Andor. Cassian/Nemik. Ah, these two. I would love, love, love anything that incorporates the politics of the show, and their different viewpoints (at that stage at the story, anyway)! But I’d also just be really happy about something that delves into their relationship, what they might find in each other, the comfort, the knowledge and skills they can offer one another and how they’d find love (in whatever capacity) in the midst of heist preparations or in the frenzy after the heist (if you decide to write a fix-it).

If it is a fix-it I’d love it to include them (but especially Nemik) coming to terms with his disability. I don’t mind if they aren’t openly in love or even flirting/pining/whatever, but just finding something in each other that they don’t find anywhere else. On the other hand, an exploration of sexuality with the revolution as a backdrop would also be super interesting.
