moropusOne of my SILs works in a factory where they make safety pink (as well as more traditional colors) heavy plastic ammo cases. Its MTM Case-Gard.
She has a few she uses to keep odds and ends in. They don't even have a gun. They have a hyper kid who gets into every thing.
She gave me this shocking pink ammo case for Christmas. Its too funny to put stuff in, to store away and never show it to people.
I've been using it for a knitting bag/purse. Last night her husband/my brother was digging at me for knitting out of it, and he's standing there peering into it, going "What's that, a comb, lipstick, cold pills, what's wrong with you?"
"Bro, I don't have any pink ammo."
"Well then that's OK."
He can't tell her what he thinks of bright pink ammo boxes, he'd sleep on the couch forever. But she makes them and brings them home.
I have got to take this to the federal building and tell them its my handbag.
Since its made entirely of plastic and full of girly things, they'd have to let me take it in, yes?

Date: 2014-02-04 02:21 am (UTC)I keep my BPAL imps in plastic ammo boxes. Turns out that one sized for .357 or .38 rounds is just the right gauge for a standard .5ml tube. Haven't found a pink one yet, though.
