I joined LJ to read fanfic, pure and simple. I have no idea what any of these shiny buttons do and I am afraid if I press to many of them, my computer will catch on fire or something. I'm happy to read and comment, but I likely won't be using LJ for much besides posting stories and posting comments on other people's stories. :P
