My name is Moose Dixon -- welcome to my journal. Previously, this journal was a collection of interesting links I've found while wandering the internet. Now that Google Buzz has come along, that function has moved here. How exactly this journal (and it's sister journal at LiveJournal) shakes out remains to be seen.

I am a 2nd career nurse working a subacute rehab floor for a health care megaplex in the St Louis area. I live with my partner and wife dakiwiboid in Maplewood. We have a household lexicon that may be useful should you come to visit.

I have enjoyed photography since the early 1980's. Quality of light and unusual views seem to be consistent themes for me. You can see a portfolio in progress here. A more current but less selective collection may be seen at my Flickr account.

For those who are interested, my sun is 29 degrees of Scorpio. My moon is 1 degree of Sagitarius. My ascendant is Aquarius. Further details may be seen here.

I am the Moose formerly associated with Ozark Avalon. If you have questions on that topic, please feel free to ask. I am a student of shamanism. My primary form of worship looks a lot like North American Eclectic Wicca with overtones of Lakota.
