| What is Moonlight_wts? Well, Moonlight was a wonderfully addictive vampire detective show on CBS airing Friday nights at 9 pm. EST (USA) until it got canceled, like two years ago! So now, what's happening with this LiveJournal community? I'm saying it's vampire LOVE on TV we need to be talking about! What does WTS mean? Way Too Serious, of course! That's right, this is a place for fans who are definitely serious about Moonlight (and new to the site - anything vampires on TV (not film, mind you, just TV vampires, werewolves, you name it). Let's accept it folks - Moonlight ain't coming back (hopefully Alex O'Loughlin will return soon though in a really kick-ass TV show!). But now, let those of you who know who you are admit it - you love vampires, and there are some good vampire-centric TV shows on right now. Namely Vampire Dairies and (to me the best vampire, paranormal adult TV show ever produced - the BBC's 'Being Human"), we can't ignore. So please feel free to stop by and talk your favorite show featuring vampires - Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Being Human! It's a grand time to be a vampire fan! And yeah, we still talk about Moonlight here, too! Then this is the community for you! Here we will discuss, debate and elaborate on vampire TV story arcs, character arcs, plotting, sub-text, sub-plots, vampire mythology, and its homo- and heteroerotic undertones and/or overtones, to name a few of the topics welcomed here. There are a bunch of great Moonlight communities and message boards. This community was created to offer another spot for those who may be somewhat long-winded (you know who you are) to discuss the nuances of the show's lighting design, editing, ships, or whether or not Mick and Beth or Mick and Coraline or Mick and Josef will ever work it out in the end. Since we are serious about our Moonlight, we have some rules and regulations: Rules and Regulations: 1) If you are a fan of Moonlight (with a tendency toward the obsessive), this is the community for you. 2) You are welcome to post your Moonlight reviews, essays, character studies, comments, questions and fanfiction and fanvid recs in  moonlight_wts.3) Believe it or not - nasty snark is not allowed. Funny snark is okay. 4) Believe it or not - Too much squeeing is not allowed. Although, we understand that these vamps will just pull it out of you sometimes. 5) For the protection of our non-spoiled community members, spoilers must be posted behind a lj-cut with a clear warning, or they will be deleted. Don't ruin it for your fellow fan; show courtesy. NOTE: A spoiler is still a spoiler until 24 hours after the has been aired in the US. Remember we're global! 6) Reposting of copyrighted materials in their entirety is not allowed. You may post links to relevant articles, and quote relevant passages. 7) Large graphics and long posts must be behind a lj-cut. 8) Request posts (screencaps, images, songs, quotes, uploads/downloads, 'who made this...?') are not allowed. 9) News of the actors' and actresses' personal lives are not allowed here. However, news of the actors' and actresses' work related to Moonlight is allowed here. 10) Treat your fellow posters with respect, even if they hold a different opinion. No personal attacks, no spam, no trolls. Civilized discussion and debate is, of course, welcome and strongly encouraged. 11) All adult material must be clearly marked and flagged so, as according to LJ rules. 12) Membership in WTS (Update!): We review all Live Journals of those individuals seeking to join WTS. If your journal doesn't have any posts, it will be automatically rejected. If your journal is Friends Only, and your user page doesn't include information about you and your interests, your membership will be requested. IF you'd like to appeal your rejection, please leave a message in our "Page-A-Mod" page.
