Tonight, during one of the World Series games (which I'm not following and I don't care), I saw a commercial for the Honda Pilot. The commercial showed a troll blocking a bridge. After some checking out the car ("Ooh! Is that a DVD player?") and bantering, the troll let the family pass in the car. I'm not concerned about the car, but the troll was awesome. He had a club and a big nose and hairiness and everything! Lemme know if you find a pic of the troll somewhere.

Monster pumpkins!

Inspired by tengoo's previous post and the upcoming holiday, I present to you all a project.

Since Halloween's rolling around in a few weeks, it's about time to get decorating. That means, for many of us (at least those in places that celebrate Halloween), it's pumpkin time.

Your project is to carve some awesome, monster-iffic pumpkins. Then take pictures and share it with us.

Bonus points for carving some kind of gourd other than a pumpkin, and even more bonus points if you carve a turnip in true Jack o' the Lantern style. (The points, however, mean nothing).

Feel free to throw out suggestions for monsters you'd like to see on pumpkins! At the moment, I'm a bit stumped as to what to carve. Last year was Cerberus, but it did't come out all too well, seeing as the heads refused to stay attached.
