Mathias Klang

Mathias Klang's research and teaching are focused on the social impacts of technology, activism, and privacy in digital culture. Spanning media, informatics, information systems and law, his work explores digital rights and the impact of technology on lives.

Originally from Sweden, he now works in New York. He is an Associate Professor in Digital Technologies and Emerging Media, and Associate Chair at the Department of Communication and Media Studies at Fordham University. (2026)
